In this new course I share all my knowledge of glazing and firing for anyone wanting to learn about mixing their own ceramic glazes and firing an electric kiln.

Sessions will be on Thursday mornings for 5 weeks.

Dates: June 6th, 13th, 27th, July 4th, July 11th 2024

Time: 10am to 1pm.

During the course we will

• Make test tiles

• Mix glazes

• Load biscuit kiln

• Load glaze kiln

• Learn about different firing schedules, safety and kiln care

• Understand clay recycling and good studio practices
